Learning from reading a book again<\/h1>\n

It is amazing what you can learn from reading the same book again. When I was younger I thought it was really weird to read books again just one time, when I heard people read books over and over I thought they must be really deranged. Now I have a whole new concept about that. I have read some books more than 3 times and it is incredible how much you can learn every time.<\/p>\n

It is almost\u00a0like reading a new book, but better. You will probably choose an edition you liked to read the first time around, but you will be amazed by how much you didn’t get the first time.\u00a0 I don\u00b4t particularly choose to ready one time after the other, it is a natural moment that you remember that particular book, it can be a month or years after the first time. But so far, every re-reading time has been super interesting. So much so I thought to make a post about it.<\/p>\n

I want to share my latest learning after reading “DO” from A.C.Ping<\/a> for the second time. The first time was about 7 yrs ago, it took me about 1 month to read it the first time. I was such a different person then and my life was completely\u00a0different than what it is now. But it inspired me a lot then I recall. I kept that around for reasons I keep others as well, its size, its cover simplicity and of course the memory of its content made me smile.<\/p>\n

An experience to change your life on a daily basis<\/h2>\n

I picked it up again this week on my way downtown in Rio. I am not a big fan of public transportation and I\u00a0hardly ever use them, besides planes really. But when I have to, I always take a book with me or a magazine or anything that can use that time for something better than looking at strangers so close for no reason.\u00a0 So I picked up this copy again and ended up reading it in 2 days.<\/p>\n

The outcome was the same, it inspired me a lot. But what I took out of it was so much more. I know understood then concepts and the scenarios with much more clarity.<\/p>\n

What I want to share about it and I quote Mr. Ping. “Remember, just by interacting\u00a0with people ou participate in their being. Every interaction involves an energy exchange, every interaction can be good or bad, and every interaction will have an effect on both you and the other person. The way you choose to interact is fundamental to the world we can create together.”<\/p>\n

Now let think about that for a moment. His philosophy is that we are all energy and therefore we are all one pull of energy. I identified\u00a0with this so much,\u00a0since, for the past year, I have purposely stayed away from people who emit that bad energy making me feel draining in any interaction. You know that feeling where you are just not left happy inside or have a weird feeling after taking or spending some time with a particular person? Yeah, that is energy.<\/p>\n

The other way around as well, I now only spend my precious time with those who clearly have amazing, positive and fulfilling energy. Of course, you might be one of those people who would like to spend your time and enhancing that person\u00b4s energy, I have done that often. But after re-reading this book I am looking at this a whole new way.<\/p>\n

If you believe we are interconnected as part of the whole then it makes this so much more interesting and fulfilling. Your action might just have an enormous effect on the world. Your energy counts. So make it count in a good, positive and loving way.<\/p>\n

Let\u00b4s continue to build a World together, now I will, with just a little more drive.<\/p>\n
