<\/p>\n<\/a>With its own brand based in Milan, a crowd of well-known clients and a small experience as an MTV host, Neil Barrett has come a long way since Devonshire saw him born. Known for his clothing which highlights detail and cut, Barrett’s approach is based on a broad understanding of fabric production, which he uses to rejuvenate classic models. Characterized by soft colors and a sober silhouette cuts, Barrett’s men’s clothing collection is patently masculine – a factor that has contributed to its great magnetism.<\/p>\n
Born in 1965, Barrett graduated from Central Saint Martins in 1986 and graduated from MA at the Royal College of Art in 1989. A year later he worked as the principal stylist at Gucci’s men’s collection in Florence, where he remained until 1994- the period when the brand was subjected to a fundamental revival, both creatively and financially. Barrett’s success at Gucci gave him the confidence to propose a men’s clothing line to Prada, who accepted the offer. Barrett then began working as creative director of the company’s men’s clothing and remained in the company until 1998, the year in which he launched the first men’s collection under his own name.<\/p>\n
Barrett achieved immediate success and was coveted by more than 100 clothing stores around the world. The following year, Barrett created White, his own production brand for Prada, by whom he was invited to open the Pitti Immagine Uomo Fair in 2000, where he presented his first female collection. In the following years, Barrett signed a contract with Puma for the creation of a footwear, and in 2004 he recreated the equipment of the Italian selection for the European Championship – an honor for a foreigner and a testimony of the worldwide success of his brand.<\/p>\n
