I always like to know a bit more about brands in general, especially the ones that make my eyes sparkle!\u00a0\u00a0Libertine-Libertine<\/a> called my attention on my last fashion research trip to New York City last March, and I had it on my agenda to write about them since then.<\/p>\n

Their pieces are strong,\u00a0extravagant and fun. I am also a big fan of the merchandising\u00a0set up at department stores, in the caseI was at\u00a0Bergdorf\u00a0Goodman<\/a>. And if you are familiar with BG, you know it is not an easy task to stand out on those flawless floors, and to-die-for pieces. This “mogul” department store commercialize\u00a0the most prestigious brands from all over the world.<\/p>\n

Libertine-Libertine was established in Copenhagen during the summer of 2009 by Rasmus Bak, Pernille Schwarz, and Peter Munch Ovesen. Inspired by\u00a0city lights and contemporary culture, the brand’s\u00a0philosophy\u00a0is to stimulate\u00a0the creative\u00a0soul without restrictions. And girls… don\u00b4t we love that!
